Nationalist march through Brighton
A march by nationalists through central Brighton was outnumbered by about three-to-one by anti-fascist protesters. The English Nationalist Alliance gathered at 12.30pm outside Brighton station before marching through the North Laine to Victoria Gardens. After a short stay, they then marched back to the station and disbanded. More than 100 counter-demonstrators were on hand to protest against and disrupt the march. Three were arrested for failing to comply with Brighton police directions to contain the protest.
