Arundel is in the southern county of West Sussex, in the area known as Arun. The large coastal towns of Littlehampton and Bognor Regis are nearby, as is the County City of Chichester. Just over an hour west is the historic Portsmouth and the ferry to the Isle of Wight. To the east is the vibrant Brighton and to the north is Horsham and Crawley with easy access to Gatwick airport The South Downs National Park is a stone's throw away for many activities, for walking, riding, and much more. The River Arun flows through Arundel and is great for kayaking and paddle boarding.
The town reveals much from the past, with classic period architecture and streets that are lined with independent shops, cafes and tearooms, antique centres, public houses, and plenty of
accommodation.
