Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt will be given every opportunity to play in Scotland’s World Cup qualifier in Croatia next Friday.
Bridcutt is struggling with a knock and his fitness will be assessesd on Saturday to see whether he is fit to travel.
The Seagulls’ player-of-the-year is believed to be keen to play in the fixture, which would be his second cap.
Scotland also have doubts over forwards Leigh Griffiths and James Forrest.
Albion skipper Gordon Greer is also in the squad.
