Albion have reportedly agreed a new contract with skipper Gordon Greer after rejecting bids from Championship rivals Leeds United for the Scottish centre-half.
Sky Sports claim The Seagulls have agreed a new deal with 32-year-old Greer, whose contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
An Albion spokesman was unavailable for comment.
Greer has linked up with the Scotland squad for Wednesday's friendly against England at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Albion team-mate Andrews Crofts has received a late call-up into the Wales squad for Wednesday's friendly against the Republic of Ireland.
The midfielder was an unused substitute in Saturday's home defeat by Derby after sitting out the Capital One Cup exit against Newport with a knee injury.
