Gordon Greer has revealed he didn’t just recommend Albion to Craig Conway.

He also made sure the club knew about the Cardiff City winger’s availability for a loan deal.

Greer and Conway are colleagues in the Scotland squad.

The Seagulls skipper said: “I spoke to him a few times when we were away about what he was going to do and Brighton was never mentioned.

“Then, when I came back, I spoke about Craig and spoke to him and he was keen to come in. I think he will do really well for us.”
