Albion were sunk by three goals in 15 minutes as they went down 3-1 to Nottingham Forest at The Amex.

Oscar Garcia’s injury-hit outfit led at the break through Andrew Crofts’ header.

But Henri Lansbury nodded in from a corner straight after the restart.

Crofts had a close range effort parried on to the post by keeper Karl Darlow before the visitors scored twice in three minutes in front of their jubilant fans.

Darius Henderson bounced a volley across Tomasz Kuszczak’s dive and Lansbury converted a spot kick after Gordon Greer’s foul on Simon Cox.

Forest had midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah sent off in the 67th minute for a second foul on impressive Kazenga LuaLua but Forest got men behind the ball from then on and saw the game out in comfort.

It was an entertaining, high-tempo affair and Kuszczak made great saves from Henderson and Radi Majewski before Albion went ahead in the 31st minute.

Stephen Ward’s hanging cross was volleyed back across goal by Ashley Barnes and Crofts got well forward to head home.
