Eastbourne hope for big things from in-form Kim Nilsson as they bring the Elite League regular season to a close.
Nilsson, who shone in The Argus Sussex Championship, drops back to reserve at home to Belle Vue tonight (first race 7.30pm).
Simon Gustafsson reverts to the top five against a decent looking Aces side led by ex-Eagles star Matej Zagar.
Eastbourne boss Trevor Geer said: “The way Kim rode last Sunday, it will be good to have him at reserve.
“Belle Vue look strong. This won’t be a walkover.”
Aces, who took a point at Peterborough last night, also include Craig Cook and Magnus Zetterstrom but Kauko Nieminen is ruled out by a shoulder injury.
Eastbourne need at least a draw to secure eighth place in the final Elite League standings.
They will slip below Belle Vue into ninth place in the ten-track league should the Aces win tonight.
Eagles: Pedersen, L.Dryml r/r, Gustafsson, Michelsen, Woodward, Nilsson, Lahti.
Belle Vue: Zager, Zetterstrom, Wolbert, Nieminen r/r, Cook, A.Dryml, Ostergaard.
