Albion No. 2 Nathan Jones is not surprised to see Monday's visitors Watford pushing again at the right end of the Championship table.

The Hornets are seventh, seven points and eight places above the injury-hit Seagulls ahead of the clash at The Amex.

Assistant head coach Jones said: "I am not surprised at all. They've got a very good squad.

"They've kept the squad together near enough. They have lost Vydra and Chalobah but they have signed well with McGugan and the players they have brought in.

"They've got a little bit of continuity as well. They haven't picked up many injuries, which has been a bonus for them.

"They have kept their best eleven together and it will be a difficult, difficult game.

"Gianfranco (Zola) is a fantastic manager and they will be there or thereabouts again."
