Albion will climb back into the top half of the Championship table and within six points of the play-off places if they beat Watford at The Amex on Monday night.

The Seagulls remain 16th after today's games.

They dropped a place last night when managerless Middlesbrough beat next Saturday's hosts Doncaster Rovers 4-0.

Millwall, who could also have gone above them with a win, earned an improbable 1-1 draw with ten men at Reading today.

Albion's injury jinx has also caught up with Lewis Dunk.

Theo on-loan centre-half helped struggling Bristol City to a 4-2 victory at Carlisle in League One, their first in 22 matches.

But Dunk went off injured 40 minutes into the match which is due to mark the end of his stint at Ashton Gate.
