Boss Richie Barker felt Crawley were unlucky not to pick up at least a point following the 2-0 defeat at Stevenage.

Reds dominated the majority of the game and created the better chances but went down to goals from Peter Hartley and Michael Doughty

They were Stevenage's only two efforts on target all game while Crawley went close through Dannie Bulman, Josh Simpson and Kyle Bennett.

Barker said: "It was very harsh. We have played worse than that this season and won games.

"We dominated for 80% of the game. We had the most shots, the most crosses, the most corners and the most possesion by miles so to come away with nothing is extremely harsh.

"We had enough chances to win two games. The result is disappointing but I can't fault the players for effort and desire."
