Sussex duo Chris Jordan and Luke Wright have been included in a provisional 30-man England squad for the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh in March.

Wright's inclusion was expected having played in the last four tournaments - helping England lift the trophy in 2010 - while he is currently part of the England T20 squad in Australia.

The all-rounder has made 46 appearances for England in the shortest format of the game and is a strong contender to be in the final 15-man squad when it is announced next month.

Jordan's selection was more of a surprise as he has never played for England in T20 cricket and has only made two appearances in ODIs.

However, his form in the opening ODI against Australia this week has forced his name into the frame for the tournament.
