Albion development forward Brennan Dickenson has joined League Two basement club Northampton Town on loan for the rest of the season.

It is the 20-year-old's third spell out on loan since joining the Seagulls from Dorchester Town for an undisclosed fee two years ago.

Dickenson previously had stints in League Two with Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon.

He goes straight into contention for the team now managed by former Albion defender Chris Wilder for tomorrow's home game against Plymouth Argyle.

Ex-pat Arnie says...

I hope Wilder makes better use of Dickenson than he did of JFC at Oxford.

Captain Haddock says...

Good luck, Brennan. This lad has plenty of promise.

Northampton are building something for a serious climb away from trouble. Looking at who they've got as boss and who they've signed, I think we'll see them fly....let's hope BD gets his chance and takes his chances!!!
