Albion have been given an FA Cup boost with the return to contention of Keith Andrews.

The experienced midfielder is back in the frame for Monday night's fifth round tie at home to Hull City.

Andrews missed the wins against Doncaster last Saturday and Leeds on Tuesday at the Amex with a hamstring problem.

Head coach Oscar Garcia said this morning: "He took part in full training the day before the game (Leeds). I think he will be available for selection."

First choice right-back Bruno was ruled out of the Leeds game by a slight thigh injury.

Oscar said of his chances: "It's too early. We'll have to wait and see."

Oscar is likely to keep faith with Inigo Calderon for Hull's visit, irrespective of whether or not Bruno recovers.

Good.

It's my unfashionable view that KA is a good player for us all in all. He plays the pass and is clever. Obviously not one for the long term, given his age and our number of midfielders, but he's been useful for us this season.
Apparently a really good influence on younger and foreign players around the squad too. Welcome back Keith Andrews.

Completely agree.
You can see the positive influence that KA has on the younger players or those a little short on confidence by the way in which he encourages others prior to the start of the game.
He's obviously not a long term solution but I for one would be very happy to see him back next year.
I'd also like to see Kemy back, and given more of a chance during the run-in.

DS is cup tied. I don't think KA can play and take 2 places on the bench....

I won't thumbs-down an opinion without explaining why. Your suggestion could well be the starting 11. I just happen to think that playing WB and KLL from the start will give us the best opportunity to get off to a lively start which is something we have lacked in recent league games. JFC and Kemy are attack minded midfielders and could provide targets in the box for the wingers. Oscar has started to be more positive with his selection but lets go that extra mile and attack with two exciting wingers supported by attacking midfielders from the start - in a match where the winner takes all. Obika will need support (as you suggest by playing rodders with him) but Oscar won't play 4-4-2.

I would like him to play a fairly strong team, but pretty sure he will want other squad players involved,so a few changes I believe.

Who gives a s**t, as long as we give a good account of ourselves and try and win the game surely that's all that matters ? I think the draw on Sunday will have a massive influence on the team selection.

At this moment in time the odds are 13-1 that we would meet Sunderland either home or away

The players who helped us beat Reading deserve another chance.

Brez , Dunk and Chicksen will almost certainly start the match

Either way I trust OG to pick a team to win the match
