Who was your choice as Albion man of the match?

The Argus: David Lopez was the sponsors' choice David Lopez was the sponsors' choice

David Lopez was named the sponsors’ man of the match as Albion lost today.

The announcement did not meet with universal approval, even though the midfielder enjoyed one of his more effective games of the season.

So who would you have chosen?

We have come up with a shortlist from today’s starting XI.

Will Buckley was lively as sub – but he only came on for the last half-hour which is probably not long enough to be a MoM contender.

So who do think was the Seagulls’ best operator against the Latics?

And, if we’ve missed your choice out of our shortlist, let us know.

As ever, we’d love to know your thoughts.

Ince again was immense. If he could score a few more aswell next season he will be a top player. Hopefully for us. Briddcut was good but this lad is better already imho.

Spanish Dave was back to his best in the 1st half and Ince didn't put a foot wrong in the 2nd half, overall the Mom for me was Bruno adding defensive guile to his penetrative offensive play and never say die attitude.

I was getting worried reading down all the posts there that I had missed something until I got to the end! Orlandi was the best player on the park, IMO. Wasn't even given as an option on the poll! Who worked that out?!

Still not convinced by announcement of man of match should only be confined to an Albion player only and chosen by a nobody sponser who may or may not have any football knowledge .
Barber has scrapped a few things such as pre match Gully girls etc un justly .

You're not wrong BS, some stuff AO does is so subtle it doesn't register in the memory, such as some sublime trickery, jinks and first time passes that are mesmerising. The build up to Dale Stephens hitting the bar was fantastic football.

Without any doubt Orlandi.
premier class
Bruno, Ince & Lopez all had good games
Stephens also much better.
A good game yesterday, shame we lost, but we are still only 4 points off 6th place.

Does everyone agree that
D2B (aka freeloaders) is no more than a boil on the backside of humanity?
