Orlandi out and Oscar faces tricky decisions for Bolton clash
Albion will be without Andrea Orlandi for the third match running at Bolton tomorrow as Oscar Garcia contemplates two tricky calls.
The Spanish midfielder has still not recovered from a thigh injury which has ruled him out since the Seagulls won their last away outing at Millwall.
It is another setback for Orlandi after forcing his way back into the team in the central role he prefers. He only returned to contention in January following knee cartilage surgery.
Fellow midfielder Dale Stephens, back from a foot problem as a late substitute in Tuesday’s victory against QPR, will return in place of on-loan Keith Andrews, who cannot play against his parent club.
Oscar is mulling over whether to retain Lewis Dunk in the centre of defence and Will Buckley on the right-wing. Dunk deputised effectively for captain Gordon Greer, who served a one-match ban against Rangers for his red card against Reading last Saturday. Oscar said: “I am very pleased with him, because in all the games he has played his performance has been really good. “I am sure he will be a fantastic player for Brighton for a long time.”
Albion are treading carefully with Buckley. He made his first league start of the year on Tuesday after persistent hamstring problems.
