Albion could have their biggest crowd of the season for Saturday's visit by fellow Championship play-off chasers Ipswich Town.

The Seagulls' highest gate so far at the Amex in the current campaign was 28,282 for Bournemouth's visit on New Year's Day.

The last home game against Queens Park Rangers also attracted a 28,000 plus attendance as the promotion race hots up.

Saturday's figure will be swelled by nearly 1,800 visiting supporters making the journey from Suffolk.

The Amex record is 30,003 against Wolves for the last game of last season.

The second leg of the play-offs against Crystal Palace attracted 29,518.

The biggest crowd to watch Albion this season was 33,432 at Elland Road for the opening day defeat by Leeds.

Once Albion have beaten the Tractor Boys, the Ipswich squad can start booking their summer holidays in Great Yarmouth - or wherever they go...

Another difficult one coming up, but obviously Oscar won't be taking anything for granted against the TBs.

In the not too distant future David Beckham will be building a stadium as a home for his MLS franchise, just like the Italian visitors of last week, Beckham needs to make a visit to the Amex.
This is not going to be an easy franchise for Beckham, it has been tried before in Florida and failed, but having a stadium that that the fans can be proud of will be a good start, anyone can build a stadium, there are plenty of american models to copy, but the Amex has set a new standard for others to follow.
Manchester City have forged a partership with the MLS, I think it would be a good for Brighton to do the same and get in on the ground floor of Beckham's franchise, and assisting him with his stadium plans would be a good first step. The Amex may not be the biggest stadium in the world, but it is one of the best.

Hahaha ,sorry Vegas I wouldn` touch that game with a 10 foot pole ,those derby`s are totally unpredictable ,but your right ,we need Derby to stuff Forest .Would love to see us put a few past Ipswich ,we have seen enough 1-0`s ,if I had to predict a score ,3-1 The Albion or better , I have a feeling we will get the bit between our teeth . I have been looking forward to Lingard hitting the back of the net, he has a couple of matches under his belt now so perhaps it's time for him to chip in with a goal or two. Stephens, to my way of thinking, is another who I think is due a goal. I would take issue witht he idea that Ipswich will score, better teams have tried and failed. I would take a 1-0 win, three points are what we need, but as with recent results, I would plum for 2-0 or better. My hope is that we can pop one in during the first 30 minutes, settle the lads down and push on for the two goal cushion, if that happens, who knows how many we might score, or not, as the case may be.

I swear I just don't get where this guy is coming from, if you even mention something non football he gets out of his highchair. It now appears that even if you are talking about a football related item, he now wants to insist that we only comment on the content of the headline on the thread.
He moans about the number of people that, 'don't,' comment, tells us of how big the number used to be, but it's daft comments from him that go a long way to driving people away.
How can Tug and I be talking rubbish when we offer a prediction to when we score our first goal, it's a bit of fun, isn't that what supporting a club is all about, having fun.

Going to really watch a team is fun.Plus it also gives you the 100% right to have your say with other fans that really watch the club.If you 2 want to talk your personal rubbish or say how wonderful and correct you both always are find a chat room.Or even better meet up for a pint in Worthing. This site is for all Albion fans young or old, rich or poor. Its not just for the 2 or 3 of you ok.Can you not see you have taken it over and all the rest have left man.

Having a pint with Vegas is a very nice idea (as long as you promise you'll be elsewhere) but problematic as he lives 5253 miles from Worthing and I live 794 miles away.

Still keep coming up with ideas Freeloaders, it's good practice for your half a brain.

PS: I return to these stories when I see they have another comment. That it is often you is always a disappointment. Other sites have a way of filtering trolls - the next time I play golf with the Argus editor I'll suggest it. Heck, I could implement it myself into their CMS in very few minutes.

2-1 Brighton.East upper middle.Tk,Brono,Ward
,Upson, and Greer. But think Dunk should keep the shirt because he has done ok for me in the 2 games.I would go with Upson and Dunk.Hoskins is in to much pain still after a game to be on the bench yet.Does that help.

Much better. I won't be at the game but will be back for the Boro game on the 29th... East lower (first time there).

My choice would be:
TK; Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Ince, Stephens, JFC; Lingard, Ulloa, Buckley

Actually, ignore that, why not talk about the story?

What do you think the score will be on Saturday? Where will you be watching from? What do you think the starting lineup will be? Who are the opposition dangermen? Will Hoskins be on the bench? Who will play at the back for us?
2-1 Brighton.East upper middle.Tk,Brono,Ward

,Upson, and Greer. But think Dunk should keep the shirt because he has done ok for me in the 2 games.I would go with Upson and Dunk.Hoskins is in to much pain still after a game to be on the bench yet.Does that help.
Much better. I won't be at the game but will be back for the Boro game on the 29th... East lower (first time there).

My choice would be:
TK; Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Ince, Stephens, JFC; Lingard, Ulloa, Buckley
With you on starting 11 but really do think Dunk should keep the shirt still he did nothing wrong in the 2 games. But happy with Greer because his still very good in this league.
Greer and Upson is the established back pair that have done outstanding work this season (and last). But very happy with any combination of the three.

That is spooky - I used the word 'pranny' this morning to my kid, the first time I've said it or heard it in 30+ years!

Best fans in the division anyday ,tough game Saturday ,but The Albion will be my first team on my bet as always ,gimme six !!. :0)) UTA
As much as I love my club, I feel our fans are a tad reserved when it comes to singing and we dont make as much noise as maybe we should! Also it would be good if we had a few new songs in our repertoire!!!

Well, that truce between us didn't last long did it? It is now a unilateral agreement and I will uphold my side of it.
