Torres starts for Crawley

Crawley Town , Sheffield United Sergio Torres makes his first league start of 2014 for Crawley as they take on Sheffield United at the Stadium tonight.

The midfielder has made just three appearances as a substitute since starting the 1-0 victory over Notts County on December 29 - his only league start of the season.

He was also in the starting XI for the FA Cup defeat to Bristol Rovers at the start of January but has been on the bench ever since.

Dannie Bulman is also recalled after being rested for the 1-0 defeat at Oldham on Saturday as boss John Gregory attempts to freshen up his midfield.

Sullay Kaikai predictably drops to the bench after an unconvincing performance at Boundary Park while captain Josh Simpson is ruled out with a hamstring strain.

Blades boss Nigel Clough has also responded to his side’s defeat against Wolves at the weekend by making three changes.

Jose Baxter, Stefan Scougall and Ryan Flynn all drop to the bench with Ben Davies, Chris Porter and Stephen McGinn coming into the starting line-up.

Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; M Connolly, McFadzean, Walsh, Sadler; M Jones, Bulman, Drury, Torres; Clarke, Tubbs. Subs: Maddison, P Connolly, Dicker, Boateng, Kaikai, Proctor, Fallon.

Sheff Utd (4-2-3-1): Howard; Brayford, Maguire, Collins, Freeman; Doyle, Coady; Murphy, Davies, McGinn; Porter. Subs: Flynn, Baxter, Paynter, Scougall, Long, Khan, Dimaio.
