Tykes could go 4-5-1 against Albion

Barnsley have named just one recognised striker in their starting line-up to face Albion.

Chris O’Grady leads the attack in what looks like a 4-5-1 formation.

Right-back Ryan McLaughlin, on loan from Liverpool, replaces striker Reuben Noble-Lazarus.

McLaughlin is likely to play in defence with Kelvin Etuhu, who has been at right-back of late, reverting to midfield.

Barnsley: Steele; McLaughlin, Nyatanga, M’voto, Kennedy; Cywka, Etuhu, Dawson, Lawrence, Jennings; O’Grady. Subs: Turner, Hunt, McCourt, Hassell, Woods, Frimpong, Proschwitz.

Flood the midfield and hope to break up our approach play, seems odd considering how much they need 3 points.

Yes, they clearly want to boss the midfield and stop our passing game. Hope it doesn't result in a 0-0. UTA

I was worried about this ref ,this is only his 6th Championship game ,he has only reffed 22 times ,and given 55 yellows and 5 reds ,he has added 2 for us so far ,Rodriguez and Ward ,heaven save us from this complete card happy pratt !.

TUG--now 3-1 to us on yellows--Ulloa just been booked---may be forced into subs early at this rate to avoid a RED!!!!!

Ulloa got to be careful with this ref--booked for one foul and then another foul in quick succession. Still no shots on target from US!!!

getting booked for being mouthy with the ref is crazy, might have to take him off before the red card comes out. CMS or KAZ?

Mikeygit ,who on earth would give such a tentatively vital game between two sides who are going hell for leather for the win ,to a bloke like this ,no experience at all ,and obviously out to be the MOTM . Yep your spot on ,may well have to make subs around the cards ,...kin disgrace if you ask me .

Rodders to CF with Kaz on for second half, Ulloa off to save him for Leicester.
CMS to replace Lingard late in the game.

Same story with the shot count according to BBC website. They've had more shots and some on target. We've had none on target. Commentary doesn't quite reflect that. Possession stats what we've come to expect. Ref seems very trigger happy and that's a re concern as he seems to be a Barnsley supporter at the moment.

It`s hard to keep a clean mouth ,when a game of football is run by a bloke who would be better of in the Arthur Daley school for 2nd hand car dealers .

gilbert---by my reckoning BBC have got stats wrong--Barnsely 7-1 shots NOT 8--2 Lets hope we can break then down in the second half and not get a sending off!! IMHO Ref should have had more experience in the lower leagues before letting him loose on the second tier league!!!
