Disappointment for Albion duo

The Argus: Jake Forster-Caskey was replaced after 65 minutes Jake Forster-Caskey was replaced after 65 minutes

Albion duo Jake Forster-Caskey and Solly March were part of the England squad which had to settle for fourth place at the Toulon Tournament.

Forster-Caskey played 65 minutes of the third place play-off against Portugal today which Gareth Southgate’s under-21s side lost 1-0.

It was an unfortunate defeat, with the Three Lions being caught out at the back after failing to take their own chances at the other end.

Midfielder Forster-Caskey was replaced by striker Will Keane as England went in search of an equaliser. March was an unused substitute.

However, both the Albion players will be pleased with their involvement at the tournament.

We will be relying increasingly on our emerging talent, and this kind of experience is invaluable in their development. It also raises the profile of the Club to anyone considering joining the academy.

Aven't quite got the set up at the back.

Hope no one does come knocking at the door.
JFC has some good game time for England and must have done well to feature in all games. Top club England are and considering there are a lot of young English talent especially in the pl then getting a call up for England was pretty good. JFC used more than Lingard and hes on Man U's books

To put saints academy into some perspective , they could sell 4-5 players who have come through there youth academy and pay off the building costs of the Amex!
Lallana , shaw, chambers Gallagher ,
They had 6 players in the England under 18s ( 2 from sussex)

MBTS I am disappointed that you replied to 100% Sh1te again.
Surely you do not feel he brings anything positive to the table.
This is a story about England U20 and he brings up the Dunk Factor once again.
Ok we may not have the academy set up of Southampton YET,
but we had 3 players representing England recently.
Walton, JFC & Solly
So although you are somewhat negative about the Albion
You have to accept we are doing pretty well with the youngsters.
Also Albion U15 are national champions.

We have improved massively in our youth, but a massive way to go ,
We have yet to sell or produce premier quality players.
