Crawley Town have signed Gwion Edwards from Premier League Swansea City for an undisclosed fee.
Edwards, 21, has signed a two-year deal at the club.
He will be at tonight’s pre-season friendly at Billingshurst, although, he was not signed in time to playin the fixture.
Boss John Gregory is delighted with the capture of the Wales under-21 international, who played six games on loan at the end of last season for the Reds and scored against Tranmere and Leyton Orient.
Gregory said: “I’m delighted Gwion has joined us on a permanent basis. Other clubs were keen because he did well for us at the end of last season but he likes this club and although there aren’t too many of the lads left from last season he does, of course, know Joe Walsh really well."
