Shaun Saunders has told young players they can progress their careers at Peacehaven.
Magpies striker Charlie Walker last week signed a two-year contract with League Two outfit Luton Town.
Walker hit 43 goals as Peacehaven won the Ryman south title and Sussex Senior Cup last season.
Boss Saunders believes the coaching and environment at the club is ideal for young players to flourish.
He said: “We have some really good youngsters still at the club who we are looking to emulate what Charlie has done. Charlie showed we are looking to improve players, to get the best out of them. If they can get a move on the strength of that, then good luck to them. Football is all about progression.
“Everyone at the club is delighted for Charlie. It shows what can be achieved here.”
Walker’s departure has left Peacehaven short on attacking options, particularly with Ben Godfrey having left to join Three Bridges.
Saunders has confirmed he is looking to make a couple of additions before the new season starts on August 9.
So far the only arrivals have been Sami El-Abd and James Fraser from Whitehawk, plus the return after a year off of former Albion favourite Kerry Mayo, although Saunders expects Mayo to be bit-part player.
He said: “Kerry will be around if we need him and if he is available. We are delighted with that.”
