Albion target Adam Clayton is finally scheduled to complete a move to Middlesbrough.
According to the Middlesbrough Gazette the Huddersfield midfielder is due to have a medical today in the North-East at the third time of asking.
Clayton did not turn up for a medical a week ago amid Albion's interest after Middlesbrough and Huddersfield had agreed a £1.5 million fee rising to a potential £2 million.
Clayton failed to show for a medical for the second time on Friday evening.
Boro boss Aitor Karanka reportedly intervened and phoned Clayton to reiterate he wanted him - but also set a deadline for the deal to go through.
Boro are now hopeful it will be third time lucky, with Jacob Butterfield moving in the opposite direction for around £750,000.
