Albion have handed Craig Mackail-Smith and Chris O’Grady a chance to strike up a partnership.
Both strikers start tonight’s Capital One Cup tie at home to League two outfit Cheltenham.
Kemy Agustien also gets the opportunity to make an impression playing in support of them.
Both Agustien and Mackail-Smith came off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
But the other sub that day, Will Buckley, is not involved tonight.
The winger is being strongly linked with a move to Sunderland.
Adam Chicksen starts at full-back and Bruno looks set to play in midfield.
Lewis Dunk takes over from Aaron Hughes in the middle of defence as boss Sami Hyypia makes four changes to the side which kicked off against Wednesday.
Hughes, Kazenga LuaLua and Shamir Fenelon drop to the bench while Andrew Crofts starts a three-match suspension.
Hyypia has resisted any temptation to give young goalkeeper Christian Walton some senior experience.
Albion: Stockdale; Calderon, Greer, Dunk, Chicksen; Bruno, Ince, Forster-Caskey; Agustien, Mackail-Smith, O'Grady. Subs: Ankergren, Hughes, Maksimenko, LuaLua, Fenelon, Harris, Toko.
