Seriously though, another excellent result. Sounds like Bruno was superb again -- is this his niche? -- as were several others including CMS. Hopefully this is the formation he has craved since he joined us.

From someone who was there... Bruno was great. He made one mistake... after they announced he was mom. Bolton poor. Lack of marking allowed them to score. BHA played some great footy though. Passing and moving. Bennett looked good defensively and attacking. Sorry to go in to one but it's the excitement of it all. We need a top drawer striker though.

What pure rubbish.I was with 3 top scouts and they wouldn't let us on the show after because his PR team have now also taken that over. Not even in the list above he was pure rubbish yet again against a very poor Bolton team just like league one Leeds. He was 100% to blame for their goal again

Agreed. Complete relief after last home game. Worth entrance fee even if we had drawn. My missing season ticket mate was proved right yet again Bruno is a midfielder 10 geat passes in first half( was under instruction to count them).
Greer deserves a mention. Not my favorite in years gone by , but seems better this season.
Just one sad thought ref striker we need. Would love to of seen how many Leo would have got today :-(.
Back to putting in high balls for short strikers.
Anyone heard rumour Cms may be going too? Hope not.

Did you get your Amex badge from the boy scouts you were with. wow everyone else thought Dunk was great but not you and your boy scouts. Just back and very much enjoyed the games today... Some of the football was sublime, 1st half especially. I think that has a lot to do with Dannt Holla and his fitness... This boys going to be some player for us when he's firing on all cylinders.

Our right side looked potent today with a lot of the attacking threat coming through Calde and Bruno. Left side not so strong but we have to give Joe a little time and hope that JFC pays back some of the faith that's has been put in him.

CMs had a cracking game and but for a wonder save would've had 2 and both Dunk and Greer were excellent.
I have to agree with a poster above... Ulloa would have had a field day today.

Re Bolton... Thought they were rubbish. They will be hard to beat all season but that has nothing to do with football and everything to do with having an average height player of over 6 foot and most of a big build. That's all they have.

Looking forwRd to a few new signings still. Those few just might be the difference between us finishing top 6 or not.

Bennett, Bruno, Greer, Dunk, Teixeira.
Any of those 5 could have been nominated.
Playing at a higher tempo with balls being played through, will suit CMS who had a good game.
Because of all the negativity re JFC, I decided to study him closely.
His interplay with Bennett and Tex made us a threat going forward.
Short passes linking up the play.
Also he was the covering player when Bennett pushed forward.
So not spectacular, but good job done.
And I think that is what OG & now Sammi see in him.
My glass is always half full, it is now at least 2/3rds

Dunk was MOM in my opinion. Never missed a ball.

Still have concerns about Stockdale though, had one save to make and failed to do so, far too slow in reacting. Heard Fulham supporter lamenting his departure so there is a talent there but he seems to lack confidence.

Loved the interplay between Bruno and Calderon today .

Great result today . impressed with new signings, and to think these players are not fully fit yet, they can only get better.
What i would like to see is more players trying to get into the box when we are going forward, to many times today we went down the wings, had to stop or try to cut inside because we did not have bodies in the box.
Very much improved though UTA.

I wasn't there but I can't see how it could be anyone else.

Seriously though, another excellent result. Sounds like Bruno was superb again -- is this his niche? -- as were several others including CMS. Hopefully this is the formation he has craved since he joined us.
What pure rubbish.I was with 3 top scouts and they wouldn't let us on the show after because his PR team have now also taken that over. Not even in the list above he was pure rubbish yet again against a very poor Bolton team just like league one Leeds. He was 100% to blame for their goal again
Did you get your Amex badge from the boy scouts you were with. wow everyone else thought Dunk was great but not you and your boy scouts. He made 18 good challenges today 8 of which were goal scoring opportunities. Not sure what game you were watching.... Before you say it, no I am not Dunks family or a Mason, just a fan watching a decent team play football.
Dunk had a great game today...snuffed out danger and looked composed. My man of the match tho was Bennett..he was up and down the line and always looked like he wanted to move the ball forward. Holla too looks a great buy and was dominant in the midfield...sami has them playing well, great shape and movement....yes bolton were poor but you can only play whats in front of you and we made them look poorer....

Excellent spells of play and looking like a new template is well on its way to asserting itself. Thought Joe Bennett was immense and Bruno & Calde both had really good games interchanging position at will. Really like how Bennett, Holla and all go forward when they get the ball - no more tippy-tappy left-right back back stuff - very encouraging! CMS still needs someone up there with him - quite a few times the ball was in serviceable positions and no player in the box to capitalise - he needs help - 2 from 2 is good but it could be so much better if he had a strike partner - so buy one - we have the money! Thought Crofty didn't have one of his best but nothing bad and JFC needs to be replaced - simply isn't up to the job - you really have to study the pitch hard to find out where he has gone - waste of a position - only gripe- other than that really looking forward to seeing that team play again but FFS invest -- buy a striker!

But Dunk is not in the list above you sad mug.

The clubs and scouts can't be very good if they didn't notice Holla was a free-agent or that Tex was already at Liverpool. Or do they only attend Brighton games?

Seriously, I'm very pleased they're not interested in current England U21 player JFC or Dunk as it means we can keep them for our glorious future. You keep telling these 'scouts' how poor they both are, Agent Freeloaders, there's a good chap.

What pure rubbish you're vile boy lost his man once again.Nothing to do with stockdale you mug.Watch the replays

Seagulls via LCFC says...

Teixeira was always looking to get the ball and played some great balls to play others into scoring positions. Always looked in control and ran the game. MOM by a long way, closely followed by CMS who was always a danger, making intelligent runs, and for once had midfielders who played it to him. Critical of the Bruno experiment of him in midfield, but have to agree he played well. 26 shots shows we created opportunities. Positive all round.

Is there any chance of us getting in the mix of those interested in taking Patrick Bamford on loan from Chelsea. He is a goal scorer of quality and would compliment Tex?Obviously he is not that keen on going to Boro?
