Jamie Ashdown has been handed his first League One start for Crawley Town away to Doncaster Rovers tonight.
The former Portsmouth and Leeds United goalkeeper replaces Brian Jensen between the posts as one of two changes from the side that beat Fleetwood Town at home on Saturday.
Jensen, who has been an ever present in the league since joining in the summer, is not believed to be injured and is included among the substitutes.
Ashdown, who signed at the end of August, played in the Johnstone Paint’s Trophy win against Cambridge United but has otherwise been on the bench since his arrival.
He was on loan at Doncaster in pre-season.
Bobson Bawling starts at right-back, as he finished Saturday’s game, with Conor Henderson dropping to the bench.
Gwion Edwards is fit enough to take his place among the substitutes but Lanre Oyebanjo – who missed Saturday’s game due to injury – is not included in the 18.
Josh Simpson did not travel with the squad as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
Doncaster are without the injured Rob Jones while Harry Forrester is suspended.
Crawley: Ashdown; Bawling, Leacock, Walsh, Sadler; Keane; Wright, Smith, Dickson; Tomlin; McLeod. Subs: Henderson, Bradley, Edwards, Young, Banya, Harrold, Jensen.
Doncaster: Steer; Wabara, McCullough, McCombe, Evina; Keegan, Wellens, Bennett, Coppinger, Robinson; Tyson. Subs: Marosi, Furman, Wakefield, De Val, Peterson, Askins, Ferguson.
