Lewis Dunk scored his fourth Albion goal of the season to secure a 1-1 draw at Watford today.

The centre-back rose at the near post to head home Kazenga LuaLua’s perfectly flighted corner on 77 minutes.

It was a well deserved point for the Seagulls, who started and finished the game strongly.

Watford went ahead on 53 minutes when Daniel Tozser curled a free-kick through the wall from just outside the box.

The prospects for the Seagulls looked bleak at that point against a Hornets side aiming to go top of the table.

But they did not feel sorry for themselves and LuaLua, a lively sub, almost forced an own goal from Joel Ekstrand.

David Stockdale kept Albion on terms late in the game parrying a drive by the clean-through Matej Vydra.

But the visitors staged a grandstand finish and low crosses by LuaLua just evaded first Gary Gardner, then Danny Holla in the goalmouth.
