Eastbourne new boy Richard Andrews has admitted he sees his move as major step up.

The 22-year-old from the West Country has signed for Eagles’ new season in the National League.

He raced at that level for Plymouth-based Devon Demons last season after previous stints at Newport, Weymouth, Buxton and Stoke.

Andrews, also a renowned grasstracker, said: “I am absolutely pumped about coming to Eastbourne.

“This should be a major step up for me.

“I have always wanted to ride there but have never had the opportunity. I am looking forward to it.”

Andrews has never ridden at Arlington but will be booked in for practice sessions as soon as possible.
