Albion could do with a favour from their bogey side and a striker they borrowed tonight.

Rotherham, two points and a place above the Seagulls in the fight to avoid relegation from the Championship, play their game in hand at home to promotion-chasing Derby County.

Darren Bent, on loan to Albion from Aston Villa before Christmas, has scored five goals in the last five games for Derby.

They beat the Seagulls in both league meetings last season, despatched them in the play-offs and defeated them 3-0 at the iPro Stadium in December.

Next-to-bottom Wigan, nine points adrift of Albion, play their match in hand at Reading this evening.

Albion host Derby on March 3, go to Rotherham on Easter Monday April 6 and head to Wigan for their penultimate away fixture on April 18.

The March 7 trip to Reading has to be rearranged because of the Royals' involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
