Josh Simpson has been thrown straight back into the Crawley Town line-up for today’s huge clash with relegation rivals Notts County.
Midfielder Simpson, who began the season as captain, has not played since the 1-0 defeat at Yeovil in November due to a hamstring injury.
Simpson is one of three changes for Crawley from the side that was hammered 5-0 in midweek.
Darren Ward is back after missing four games with a heel injury which Crawley originally feared would rule him out for the season.
Mathias Pogba, who is still waiting for his first Crawley goal, is also recalled with Dean Morgan, Ryan Dickson and Lanre Oyebanjo dropping to the bench.
There is no place again for Marvin Elliott due to an infection.
Albion loanee Paddy McCourt starts for Notts County who begin the game above Crawley on goal difference but with both teams currently in the bottom four with three games to play.
Crawley: Jensen; Young, Ward, Bradley, Youga; Tomlin, Fowler, Wordsworth, Simpson; Pogba; McLeod. Subs: Dickson, Oyebanjo, Smith, Edwards, Morgan, Harrold, Price.
Notts County: Carroll; Dumbuya, Mullins, Williams, Adams; Jones, Smith, G.Thompson, Burke, McCourt; Spencer. Subs: Hollis, Hayhurst, Wroe, Edwards, C.Thompson, Bajner, Pilkington.
