Worthing has snapped up goalkeeper Rikki Banks from Lewes.
Banks, who was in his third spell with the Rooks, had committed himself to the club for the coming season.
However, he could not turn down an offer to link up again with great pal Gary Elphick, who has since taken over as joint-manager at Worthing.
Lewes have been buoyed though by Chris Breach pledging his future to the club and two others agreeing to join.
The vastly experienced Breach, who has made more than 200 appearances for Lewes, will be with the club again for 2015-16.
Midfielder Fraser Logan has returned to the club, having left midway through last season, while 19-year-old defender or midfielder Richie Welch has joined from Eastbourne Borough.
