Alex Revell today vowed to continue his return to scoring form for Albion in the last two games of the season.

Revell ended a drought stretching back to December by heading his 11th goal of the season at Swansea last Saturday.

The former Braintree striker, who spearheads the attack against Oldham at Withdean tomorrow, said: "It had been a long time. It shouldn't have been that long. I've had injuries but I've also had chances since I've come back.

"To score at Swansea gave me confidence again. I felt really good after that game. My job now is to keep it going and keep scoring until the end of the season."

Revell's appearances since January have been restricted by ankle ligament damage and a hernia which requires surgery.

"It's sometimes hard after half-time when you go in and sit down and your body seizes up a little bit," he said. "I know I need the op but I also know it isn't going to get any worse, so I can get through the game without it worrying me."

Albion have won only one of their last 11 outings at Withdean and failed to score in seven of the last nine.

Revell admitted: "We want to win at home. If we had won 50 per cent of our games at home then we would have been up there. We all know that and we all know how passionate the fans are.

"We want to do well as a club and for that to happen we have to play well at home and keep the supporters with us.

"The support at Swansea was amazing again and we need to give a performance at home to get those people back next year."
