Eastbourne team manager Glenn Martin hopes fans turn out and enjoy a party at Arlington tomorrow.

But he admits there is still a bit of work to do in the National Trophy final after winning 48-41 at Rye House in the first leg tonight.

Bradley Wilson-Dean went unbeaten in his four programmed rides before falling in heat 15 chasing a maximum.

Eagles’ No.1 twisted his knee in the tumble but will be fit to ride tomorrow.

Kelsey Dugard also expects to be available but will have an X-ray on his damaged foot.

Eagles bounced back from the shock of a 5-1 against them in heat two to follow with a 5-1 and 5-0.

They were in charge from then on and will be expected to finish to job on home shale.

Martin warned: “Never count your chickens. The job’s not finished yet.

“The boys were brilliant. I’m really chuffed with the performance.

“My message to fans would be to turn out in force and see us pick up some silverware.”

The second leg starts at 2pm.
