Bognor booked their place in the draw for the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy after drawing 0-0 at Sutton United.

The Rocks will go into the replay at Nyewood Lane on Tuesday confident of getting a result after more than matching their National League south opponents.

Sutton had the better of the first half with a strong wind at their backs but Ross Stearn was unable to make the most of two good chances.

Snore Nilsen went closest for the Rocks in the opening 45 minutes as his fierce 20-yard drive forced Ross Worner into a fine save.

Bognor got on top in the second half with the help of the wind and the introduction of the lively Alfie Rutherford during the interval.

They were unable to carve out any real openings until the closing stages, however, when Ollie Pearce twice had good efforts from long range and Rutherford’s charge down of a Worner clearance rolled just wide.]

Skipper Jason Prior could have won it in injury time only to see his goalbound header deflected just wide.
