Johanna Konta has been handed one of the toughest possible draws as she bids to break her duck at Wimbledon.
The British No.1 from Eastbourne has been paired with world No.43 Monica Puig in the first round at the All England Club.
Konta has never won a match at Wimbledon in four attempts and would have been hoping for an easier start having been elevated to 16th seed by the withdrawal of Victoria Azarenka yesterday.
Puig has highlighted her ability on grass at Eastbourne this week where she knocked out former world No.1 Caroline Wozniacki on her way to the semi-finals.
The 22-year-old from Puerto Rico also reached the semi-finals at Nottingham earlier this month and progressed to the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2013.
The pair have only met once before with Konta winning a tight battle on grass at Nottingham last year 4-6 6-4 7-5.
