ALBION are in negotiations with Solly March over a new contract.
The winger has turned down the club’s opening offer of a revised two-year deal.
March still has two years left on his existing contract.
The England under-21 international caught the eye of Southampton and West Ham last season before suffering serious knee ligament damage at Derby in December.
March’s recovery is on track but he is unlikely to be ready for the start of Albion’s Championship campaign at Derby on August 6.
Manager Chris Hughton told The Argus in May it will be like having a new signing once March is back
