Albion will make a late call on whether Dale Stephens plays against Leicester.

The midfielder has a hamstring problem and missed two away games before the international break.

Boss Chris Hughton today revealed he is not a certain starter when the Seagulls return home on Saturday in the Premier League.

But left-back Gaetan Bong is set to play after a thigh injury.

Hughton said: “The only doubts had been Gaetan Bong, who will be fit, and Dale, who we will still make a decision on.

“The problem he (Stephens) had was very minimal. He has been able to go outside and he has been able to really push it.

“But we will need to make that late decision on him.”

Stephens joined Albion’s non-internationals as they went away for warm weather training in Tenerife.

Hughton said: “We hope it has been a good time spent. You want to go into the next game hitting the ground running.”
