Shane Duffy says Albion need have no fears at the Amex.

The Seagulls are preparing to take on Manchester United on Friday in their final home fixture of the season.

A win would secure safety for the Seagulls and a point would nudge them closer to that target.

But United have won ten of their 17 away fixtures this season.

Duffy, impressive in the 0-0 draw at Burnley on Saturday, believes Albion can take heart from their narrow defeats this term at Old Trafford.

And he reckons four points from home games against Arsenal and Tottenham show what can be done.

He told The Argus: “We have a huge game on Friday which e are all looking forward to.

“We can’t wait to send the fans away happy from the last home game.

“I think at the Amex we are a different force with the fans behind us.

“We will try and do what we did to Arsenal and Tottenham.

“We have got defend for large periods against these teams and take our chances.”

He added: “We don’t fear anyone coming to the Amex and that is a big thing for us.

“It’s a big game and you have to be up for it.

“Maybe we take confidence from our last two performances against United.

“They haven’t been to the Amex yet so it will be a nice game.”
