Albion will face former No.1 David Stockdale as part of preparations for their second season in the Premier League.
The Seagulls visit Stockdale's Birmingham for a friendly on July 28 (3pm).
Stockdale joined the Championship club last summer after helping Albion to promotion.
The trip to St Andrews also marks a return to Birmingham for manager Chris Hughton and is one of three away friendlies against Football League opposition.
Albion go to AFC Wimbledon on July 21 (3pm) and Charlton on July 24 (7.45pm).
Pre-season starts with a training camp in Switzerland from July 8 and opening friendly against St Gallen (July 14).
Albion's build-up will conclude with the traditional showpiece friendly at the Amex on August 3 against opponents to be confirmed.
They are also poised to play another midweek away fixture, potentially abroad, in the week commencing July 30.
