Dean Cox has parted company with Crawley Town.
The former Albion wideman is on the look-out for a new club after his deal at the Broadfield Stadium was terminated by mutual consent.
Cox, 30, was a popular addition when he was signed as a free agent during the 2016-17 season by Dermot Drummy,.
But he struggled to find favour with Drummy’s successor Harry Kewell.
He was limited to just three League Two starts last season, the last of them in early September.
Mid Sussex-based Cox, who came through the Seagulls’ youth ranks, today tweeted: “Last season wasn’t what I wished, however I would like to thank the fans for their support and wish the club all the best. Looking forward to a new season wherever that may be.”
He is likely to be linked with Leyton Orient, the club where he starred between his time at Albion and Crawley.
