Albion are poised to add another nationality to their cosmopolitan ranks.
They are interested in landing Ecuadorian striker Billy Arce for Simon Rusk's under-23s squad.
Reports in Ecuador claim the 20-year-old will sign a four-year contract and then be loaned out to Albacete in the Spanish second division.
Arce, currently with Independiente del Valle in Ecuador's top flight, is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in his country.
