Reading boss Paul Clement will leave Albion target Liam Moore out of his opening night line-up.

The Seagulls want to add the centre-back to their Premier League squad ahead of next Thursday’s deadline.

Clement said Moore was not in the right frame of mind to face Derby on Friday.

The Royals boss said: “He is still here and training with us."

"I'm hoping he is going to be here when the permanent transfer window ends.

"We have to think of the team and everyone is focused. Liam is not focused on the first team as he is not sure what is happening with him."

"If you are here you have to get on with it and do well for the club and his team-mates."
