Liam Moore has confirmed he is staying at Reading – after summer interest from Albion.
The centre-back confirmed his immediate future lies at the Madejski via social media.
The Argus reported this morning that chances of him joining the Seagulls were receding and that there had been no recent contact between the clubs.
Moore revealed he was told by Reading that they would not allow him to leave at any price and that they saw him as part of big plans.
He wrote: "In the past I have always made it clear that my ambition was to return to the Premier League
“When a substantial fair offer was rejected I privately requested to leave the club and take the opportunity to play at the highest level.
“I would like to stress I believe I have been professional throughout and was interested on taking a forward move.”
