Adam Lallana has called on Albion to be more “streetwise” in the quest to pile up points.

The Seagulls aim for a second Premier League win of the season as they prepare to host West Brom tomorrow (5.30pm, Sky Sports PPV).

Lallana adds experience to the youngest team in the Prem and loves what he sees around him.

But he believes Graham Potter’s side still have a bit to learn about game-management.

He would happily see them pick up an ugly win or two to ease them up the table.

Lallana said: “It does not feel like a young team technically, or ability-wise, but maybe mentally you can see our average age is young.

“Just in certain aspects. It is hard to explain the signs that show that but, as a player working with the group, I think mentally there are sides of our game we can improve. The way we manage games.

“There are certain signs but. technically and physically, the young lads are brave, they want the ball, which is really refreshing.”

Lallana was asked whether Albion needed to toughen up mentally.

He replied: “It is not just about toughening up. Maybe it is being a little more streetwise, managing the game better in certain situations.

“That does not happen overnight. When you are young, you can’t just get it overnight.

DID YOU SEE THIS? Albion teen scores his third of the season in League One.

“There is a process and you need to learn it. You need to almost do things wrong, experience not doing it, to then make sure it does not happen again.

“Winning helps. Winning football matches ugly, it helps.

“I think that is what I developed and learned a lot over my time at Liverpool, that side of the game.
