Winger Natalie Johnson had her shot blocked by a last ditch tackle from United full back Maria Thorisdottir before half time.

It was only 1-0 to United going into half time.

Lewes striker Emily Kraft pulled a goal back with a finish lifted over United keeper and England international Mary Earps just five minutes later.

Nikita Parris sealed the tie in the 89th with a close range finish in to the bottom left corner to make it 3-1.
