Tilley has produced intermittent moments of magic with Crawley in his two-and-a-half years with the club but is looking forward to a new chapter.

He said: “I’m very excited to get going after speaking to the club for a little while.

“The stadium is really nice, I’ve played here a couple of times before – I’m looking forward to playing front of our fans.”

Meanwhile Crawley have brought in midfielder Liam Kelly, also on a two-year deal.

Kelly, 26, was most recently with Rochdale and has been capped at under-21 level by the Republic of Ireland.

He started his career at Reading and has also had a stint with Feyenoord.
