Julio Enciso’s national team boss wants to help the Albion star back to his best.

He believes good signs are there after a few outings with the Seagulls.

Enciso is with the Paraguay squad in Sochi ahead of a friendly against Russia on Monday.

Head coach Daniel Garnero has taken questions about Enciso and winger Ramon Sosa, who is also causing excitement, in the run-up to the game.

Garnero said: “I hope 'Julito' comes back to compete at a very high level, as he was doing before his injury.

“He is just getting started again.

“He is very well but he can have a level much higher than has been the case so far.

“I want to talk to them both and watch them and we will analyse the situation.”

Albion are easing Enciso back and his longest appearance has so far been close to an hour at home to Roma.

But Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi sees him as a player who can potentially change his team’s season and Danny Welbeck also has high hopes.

Asked about Enciso by The Argus, Welbeck said: “First and foremost it’s really good to have him back.

“He has been through a difficult spell with the injury and we all know the qualities Julio brings to the team.

“Being out for that amount of time and then getting back into the team, getting back into the rhythm of playing games, training sessions and recovering, going again takes some time.”
