Albion fans got a first look at the future as they turned up to see their side play Arsenal.

Work is under way on the Fan Zone which is being built opposite the North Stand at the Amex.

An area of the walkway has been fenced off and catering outlets moved.

The plan is to have the new facility in place for the start of the 2024-25 campaign.

Albion chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said: “The Fan Zone is an important opportunity.

“I don’t want to get carried away with what that is going to deliver in terms of revenue.

“It is new and we have got to make it work very hard.

“But it gives us that opportunity not just for matchdays but in between matchdays to generate new revenue.”
