Cheteshwar Pujara has been passed fit for Vitality County Championship action.
But Ollie Robinson will not feature in Sussex’s second game of the season.
Pujara comes into the squad to visit Leicestershire from today in division two.
He has recovered from a back issue which kept him out of the opening fixture at home to Northants.
Robinson played in that one but has not been cleared for the trip to the East Midlands.
Sussex have revealed the England seamer has been made available by the ECB for five of the opening seven Championship games.
Sussex: from Alsop, Carson, Carter, Clark, Coles, Haines, Hudson-Prentice, Hunt, Karvelas, Lamb, Pujara, Seales, Simpson.
