Sussex head coach Paul Farbrace praised his side as they enjoyed a big Championship win.
The county wrapped up success by an innings at Derbyshire as Jayden Seales took 5-29.
Farbrace said: “It’s been a good month for us, we’ve played good cricket and we’re delighted with how we are putting ourselves in positions where we have a chance of winning.
“It’s an excellent win, nice to bat as well as we have done and score big runs and it’s great that we’ve got the variety in our attack that we can cope with all conditions.
“All you can do is try and keep improving every day. I keep saying to them it doesn’t matter how well we play, whatever the result there’s always something we can improve on.
“Every member of our team is pleased for Jayden because in the four games he’s played for us every single spell he’s run in hard. he’s never cantered in, he’s never taken it easy and never not wanted to bowl.
“He keeps running in for us and his attitude and approach to every days cricket is sensational.”
