Jack Hinshelwood says scoring against Crystal Palace was the highlight of his debut season.
But he is looking forward to more magic moments in the 2024-25 campaign.
The versatile Albion teenager is recovering from a foot operation which cut short his season.
He has been absent since the 4-1 defeat of Palace, in which his header opened a 2-0 lead.
It was one of three goals he has scored this term, all in home wins.
Hinshelwood was named Albion’s young player of the year at awards night on Tuesday.
Asked for a highlight of the season, he said: “The goal against Palace – it’s an obvious one!
“As a fan growing up, there is no greater feeling than scoring against Palace.
“I have massive respect for Palace at the same time.
“My grandad played a lot of games for them.
“But, when you are at this football club, you want to beat them.”
Hinshelwood aims to be back to full fitness in time for pre-season.
He said: “I’m working my socks off every day to get back.
“For me, pre-season can’t come quickly enough.”
